Key Iranian Demands
Tehran requires closure of all US military bases in the Gulf region and binding guarantees against future attacks. It also seeks financial reparations for war damages, full lifting of sanctions, and formal control over the Strait of Hormuz—including fees on passing maritime traffic. US Counter-Proposal
Trump’s 15-point plan demands Iran dismantle nuclear facilities like Natanz and Fordow, hand over enriched uranium stockpiles, abandon regional proxies, and keep the Strait of Hormuz as a free corridor. It also calls for missile restrictions and IAEA oversight, terms Iran deems “unacceptable.”
